As the deputy director of the plant for Social Welfare Officer Nicholas Podvoisky, banner size 8×4 m hung on the facade of the building in the morning on April 28. He explained that the appearance of a portrait of Stalin on the poster is not accidental.
“He was the head of state, he is a winner, he has two orders of” Victory “. And on the poster reads: “Victory in the Great Patriotic War”, and Stalin was in charge of the state, he was released, he raised, he inspired the people “, – said the deputy director general.
He added that the portrait of Joseph Stalin and a slogan, it was decided to put on the poster also because today’s children do not know who ”

Stalin’s “Millions”

People argue that Stalin had tens of millions of people murdered. But if that is the case, then why do the actual facts report increasing populations instead of decreasing populations? Here are the results from a simple Google search on Russia’s population levels:

1917: 184.6 million

1926: 147 million (the effects of the civil war)

1931: 161 million

1939: 170.5 million

1940: 191.7 million

1950: 181 million (the effects of ww2)

1960: 214.2 million

So, where are these massive decreases in the population that Stalin was supposed to be responsible for?

If there had been millions of people killed you would see a sharp drop in the population, followed by a long recovery period. Notice that it took 23 years to get back to the 1917 level after the Revolution/Civil War. If you look at the “Stalin years” what you see is a steady growth in the population (minus the fall caused by W.W. II). It should also be noted that shifting borders after world wars I and II would add and subtract from the totals.

Here is an example of what bourgeois historians do vis-a-vis the Soviet Union , only turned against the US:

But we offer the above just to prove a point, because that too is false. Here are the facts:

US Population

1910 = 91,972,266

1920 = 105,710,620

1930 = 122,775,041

1940 = 131,669,275

To really put those statistics in context, and to explain why, had millions been “killed by Stalin” you would have seen a fast, sharp decline followed by a slow recovery; just consider a simple fact: It takes a microsecond to kill a human being; it takes nine months to make a new one.

As said above “It takes a microsecond to kill a human being; it takes nine months to make a new one.” But then one needs to consider that for significant demographic growth/recovery those new human beings would have to produce new human beings of their own. And that would take an additional 15 – 18 years, at least.  So, you take all of this into consideration and the numbers just don’t support the theory of a massive loss of life during Stalin’s administration.

One thing the Nazis taught the world was that the systematic murder of millions of people requires harnessing vast resources and the stretches the capacities of a modern state to the limit.

Consider: Transporting massive amounts of people to the place where they will be killed; the building of industrial capacity gas ovens and crematoria; the large amount of labor needed to staff such an endeavor. All that is evident from the history of the Holocaust.

So, if Stalin’s government murdered even MORE people than did the Nazis (as is often claimed), then where was the machinery of extermination? Its base and superstructure? Its labor force? Where are the Soviet railway workers who shoved people into boxcars? Where are the railway timetables coordinating their movement? Where are the factories that produced the poison gas (keeping the comparison with the Nazis going)? Where are the workers who labored in those factories producing the poison gas? Where are the blueprints for the construction of crematoria? Where are the NKVD men who did the supposed killing?

Answer: No where. Because it’s all a lie.

Moreover, where are the witnesses? We have tons of testimony about the Nazi atrocities from both killers and victims. Where are the Soviet ones? Again, they are no where. Because they never where. Finally, why was none of this mentioned at the time — or even for decades afterward?

You have to hand it to Robert Conquest, he single handedly created the Stalin-killed-more-people-than-Hitler industry that has proven so useful and profitable to the Right.

Letter of Prof. V. I. Ilyukhin to Vladimir Putin on the Falsification of Katyn Documents

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich!

I am  sending to you a collection of materials from the ”round table meeting” concerning the subject “Katyn: judicial and political aspects”, which was conducted in the State Duma on April 19, 2010.

In its work participated major Russian scientists, history scholars, lawyers, representatives for the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office, who have been directly involved in the investigation of the criminal justice case regarding the death of Polish POWs.

With the support of collected additional materials regarding the Katyn tragedy, the meeting participants came to the clear conclusion that the Poles were shot in the Autumn of 1941 by the Fascists after their occupation of Smolensk oblast. This opinion has also emerged on the basis of facts testifying of the falsification of historical documents. The investigation of the criminal justice case was bordered by serious violations of procedures, conducted for the benefit of the Poles, thus it is necessary to go on with the preliminary investigation and when it is over all available documents in its possession must be turned over to a court for a public evaluation.

At the same time it has been stated that it would be appropriate to create a Russian government commission in order to establish what happened to the 200 000 Red Guards and civilians (Russians, Byelorussians, Ukrainians, Jews), who ended up in Polish captivity during the years 1918-1920.

According to available information over 80 000 people died in Polish camps from the intentional denial of medical care, brutal treatment, lack of food and shootings.

We ask you to look into this.

V.I. Ilyukhin to D.A. Medvedev: Russia is entitled to require permission to raise a monument in Poland to the victims of Polish terror, similar to the one raised to the Poles in Katyn

Press office of the CPRF faction –
To the President of the Russian Federation
D.A. Medvedev

Dear Dmitry Anatolyevich!

In early December this year you will pay an official visit to Poland.

There is no doubt, that during the discussions about the interstate relations the Polish side will once again raise the so-called “Katyn issue”, once again re-activated by western politicians in order to discredit the Russian people and to diminish the role of the Soviet Union’s victory in World War II. In addition, referring to the “Katyn case” has quite a specific task – to create a fertile ground for compensation claims against our country for the shooting of the Polish “elite of the nation.”

Despite the existence of irrefutable facts that disprove the conventional version of the shooting of 22 thousand Polish POWs by members of the NKVD of the USSR, attempts are being made in order to achieve recognition of this crime as genocide, with consequent presentation of claims to Russia about damage compensation to Poland in an amount currently exceeding more than 100 billion euros. There are already more than 70 lawsuits from the relatives of the murdered Poles present in the international court in Strasbourg, and there is no doubt that their numbers will grow.

Given the above, we express our hope, that during the upcoming visit to Poland our delegation will stand firm and will defend itself from being pulled into a discussion of this issue, which once again will be wittingly used in anti-Russian purposes.

As a counterbalance, we consider it possible to raise before the Polish side the question of clarifying the fate of 130,000 Red Army soldiers, who fell into Polish captivity in 1920. According to existing information, more than 80,000 people died from brutal treatment, hunger, mass diseases and executions, something that Poland, as we know, does not want to admit. Russia has the right to request permission to raise on their territory a monument to the victims of Polish terror, similar to the monument, that was raised to the Poles in Katyn.

About the resolution of the State Duma of the Russian Federation “In Memory of the Victims of the Katyn Tragedy”

As it has become known to the editors of “The Truth about Katyn”, there are now plans to discuss and to adopt a political resolution, “In Memory of the Victims of the Katyn Tragedy”, at a meeting in the State Duma of the Russian Federation on November 26, 2010. The draft resolution places responsibility for the Katyn crime, committed by the German occupation authorities in the fall of 1941, on the Soviet Union. The adoption of the anti-Soviet resolution is timed to President of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev’s visit to Poland on December 6, 2010. In connection with the scheduled attempt of falsifying history on November 26, which contradicts with the interests of Russia, the deputy of the State Duma V.I. Ilyukhin addressed on November 24, 2010 to the Chairman of Russian State Duma B.V. Gryzlov with the following statement:

To the Chairman of the State Duma
of the Russian Federation
B.V. Gryzlov

Dear Boris Vyacheslavovich!

In connection with the discussion at the plenary meeting in the State Duma, on November 26, 2010, of the draft resolution “About the declaration of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation “In Memory of the Victims of the Katyn Tragedy”, please issue an instruction to reproduce and to distribute among the deputies the draft notes, which formed the basis for the forgery of L. Beria’s letter to J. Stalin about the alleged reviewing of cases of Polish prisoners and applying to them the highest measure of punishment – the shooting. This letter and the forged extract from the decision of the Politburo of the AUCP(b) from March 5, 1940 are being used today by the enemies of Russia, who sacrilegiously present these as the main proof of Stalin’s and the Soviet leadership’s guilt in shooting the Poles near Katyn in the Smolensk region.

The falsification was carried out in the late 80’s – early 90’s of last century and it has been established by expert studies and other evidence.

It can be argued, that distortions of the events related to the Katyn tragedy were originally initiated by the well-known people in our country – A. Yakovlev, D. Volkogonov, V. Falin, R. Pikhoya and others.

Explanations will be given during the discussion of the draft resolution.

Katyn Forgeries Revealed

From Pravda.Ru, 01/12/2012 (

by Luiz Carcerelli

A wave of libel and slander against Soviet power was meticulously fabricated by revisionists for decades. The “truths” made against the first socialist state in history were initiated by Khrushchev and passed from hand to hand by the clique that seized the Kremlin until Gorbachev led to the dissolution of Russian socialism – and formalized its transition to capitalism.

The defamatory work, however, was not yet completed. Boris Yeltsin, allegedly, who took over management of the post-socialist Russian State, spent lots of money with forged documents that have joined the “files of the communist period,” which were the icing on the defamatory cake initiated by the revisionists.

The forgeries included the Katyn massacre, letters of Stalin and Beria, among others. In fact, all that could attack the Soviet state and the direction of Josef Stalin.

Last October, the Russian deputy, Viktor Ilyukhin, gave a speech denouncing this factory of lies and mumbo jumbo in detail, showing documents, stamps and etc., all of which were fabricated by high officers of the Russian government over the years

A former agent of Boris Yeltsin, responsible for the numerous forgeries, contacted Viktor Ilyukhin, saying he intended to disclose information about the murder of Polish soldiers in Katyn. According to the former agent, early in the Yeltsin government, a group of forgers was formed, handsomely paid, and having at their disposal all the resources necessary to make forgeries, such as blank forms at the time of Stalin’s rule, typewriters used in the period, forms, stamps, etc..

In his speech, Ilyukhin unmasked and debunked that which has already been noted, for example, that existing technology in the 40s would not be able to manufacture some types of stamps used in the fakes. He reveals that this technology has only been used in the late 1970s or early 1980s, and that, therefore, such documents attributed to the “Soviet state” could never be authentic.

According to the informant, the first headquarters of the group of forgers was Nagorno, and then Zareutye. They were participating in the group, besides the “specialized” people, allegedly the head of the Russian archive and the security chief of Yeltsin. It was the head of the archive, according to this source, Rudolf Pichoya, who handed the folder with the “documentation” about Katyn to the then president of Poland, Lech Walesa, in October 1992, in Warsaw. The agent also affirmed having forged the signatures of Beria, Stalin, Voroshilov, Molotov and Mikoyan.

Among the documents falsified by the group was the “Shelepin Letter” (which incriminates the USSR for the death of Polish citizens), a purported letter from Beria suggesting where the “Katyn massacre” would be and documents suggesting an association between the NKVD (Soviet secret service ) and the Gestapo.

The speech is available at Viktor Ilyukhin / blog with Spanish subtitles. More information about Katyn can be found in paragraphs 65 and 69 of AND.
